We provide personalised disability support and exercise physiology to support everyday life, movement and long term wellbeing.
We are currently completing our NDIS registration, and in the meantime continue to support participants with a strong focus on professionalism, communication and quality of care.
Our approach prioritises consistency, trust and meaningful outcomes, ensuring support feels empowering and aligned with each individual’s goals.

Our Beliefs
Primitive means first.
It represents what comes before systems, paperwork, and processes… the foundations of human care.
Primitive Health & Support Services was created from a simple belief:
that quality disability support starts with getting the fundamentals right.
Before rosters.
Before reports.
Before boxes are ticked.
It starts with respect, consistency, trust, and genuine human connection.
Founded in 2022 by Directors Nikhil Duvvi and Ellyce Quirk, Primitive was built after witnessing too many people treated like numbers… with rotating staff, rushed shifts, and support that prioritised systems over people. We knew there was a better way.
With Nikhil’s background as an Exercise Physiologist, and both Directors shared values around health, movement, and wellbeing, we wanted to create a company focused on helping people live their lives to the best of their abilities, physically, emotionally, and socially.
At Primitive, we focus on first principles of care. We take the time to truly know the people we support, provide consistency through familiar faces, and deliver care that feels calm, respectful, and empowering in everyday life.
As a family run, director led provider, we remain actively involved in all aspects of support… from participant care and staff selection to ongoing planning and quality assurance. We don’t operate from behind a desk: we stay present, accountable, and very much hands on.
We intentionally remain boutique so we can protect what matters most: personalised support, clear communication, and high standards of care.

Support
Everyday support helps with the practical parts of daily life, including routines at home, appointments, errands, and building structure, confidence, and independence.
Support is delivered at your pace, with a focus on doing things together in a way that feels respectful and comfortable.
Community
Access
Community access support helps people get out, stay connected, and feel confident in everyday settings. This may include social activities, appointments, gym sessions, or outings, with an emphasis on meaningful participation and growing confidence in the community.
Skill Building
& Independance
Our support focuses on building skills for the future, including confidence in daily tasks, routines, social skills, and decision making. The goal is always to support greater independence and long term wellbeing.
Exercise Physiology - Movement Based Therapy
What exactly is Exercise Physiology?
Exercise physiology is about helping people move their body in ways that feel safe, achievable, and enjoyable.
We’re here to make exercise and movement feel less intimidating and more fun, while building strength, improving movement, and boosting confidence in everyday activities.
Sessions are personalised and practical, and because our service is mobile, we bring support to a familiar environment … taking the stress out of travel or busy community settings while supporting long term wellbeing and independence.
Movement &
Strength Support
We help people move their body in ways that feel safe, comfortable, and achievable. Sessions may include gentle strength exercises, improving balance and mobility, and supporting confidence with everyday movement.
All support is tailored to individual abilities and goals.
Building Confidence
with Movement
Our exercise physiologists work at each person’s pace, helping them feel more confident in how their body moves.
This may support everyday activities such as walking, getting up and down safely, or moving with greater ease at home and in the community.
Supporting Long Term Wellbeing
We’re not about pushing limits… we’re about supporting long term health and independence.
Movement based support can help maintain physical ability, reduce discomfort, and support overall wellbeing in a sustainable, realistic way.
